Mastar Ltd established for over 20 years are a Nottingham based company who have established a reputation for quality and professionalism in the design and manufacture of control panels and enclosures in mild or stainless steel. Producing our standard M.C.C or switchboards, control desks, panels, consoles to individual client’s specifications, fitted with or without bus bars.

Mastar Design

Our design team of quality engineers and technicians are able to design each control panel individually to ensure that it fully meets with our client’s specification, and more importantly that the control system will function correctly in application. Their professional expertise ensures that the client gets full satisfaction from our products.

All control panels are designed in accordance with British and IEC Standards, unless otherwise specified.

Mastar Construction

Pressformed and welded fabrications using as standard 2mm thick sheet steel for framework/doors/covers and 3mm thick sheet steel for compartment gear plates. Ingress protection up to IP65.

Mastar Paint Finish

Selected from the BS 4800, BS 381C or RAL Range. Epoxy powder coated and stoved to the colour of your choice.

Master Bus Bar Systems

Fully ASTA certified systems tested at 50K.A. for 1 second. Fitted with hard drawn conductivity copper. The Bus Bars are mounted in moulded supports provided to B.S.5486 Part 1:1990 and IEC 439-1:1992. Three phase and neutral main bus bars and dropper bars.

Six-fuse combination unit outgoing circuit types UFS 20 (20A) UFS 200 (200A) have been short circuit tested at 50KA connected to main dropper bus bars.

Options include tinned bus bars and PVC insulation. A continuous copper earth bar is provided as standard.

Master Motor Control Centres

The Mastarline range of multi-motor control and distribution boards have been designed to gain maximum flexibility with regard to compartment sizes and permutations to try and fulfil all individual needs. This also provides easy alteration and maintenance when changes are necessary. The Mastarline range has been designed to accept a one compartment and door to 14 compartment and doors.

The Mastarline control panel is fully ASTA certified to BS 5486 PT: 1990 EN 60 439-1:1990 and IEC 439-1:1992 fault rating 50K for 1 second and bus bars are fitted at the top as standard but can be fitted in the bottom of the cubicle if required. To view our ASTA certificate click here
